Summit Counseling Services

Summit Counseling Services began it's journey to assist in meeting the behavioral health needs in rural North Dakota in 2015. Summit Counseling Services is one of forerunners in providing care in these rural areas. Until Covid Summit had 7 offices located throughout Western North Dakota, since that time we now have 5 sites located in Bismarck, Dickinson, Williston, Grand Forks and our Residential Unit in Stanton, North Dakota.

Summit Counseling Services is innovative in that we provide in person, and remote services to those in need. It is well known that mental health needs are some of the most unmet needs in rural areas and Summit seeks to provide these services.

Summit is looking for a Nurse n the needs of our Behavior Health needs of our clients. We offer both Mental Health and Addiction Services as well as MAT programming at all 5 sites. We are looking for someone with a passion to help in these needed areas.

This position requires that the nurse be licensed in the State of North Dakota or willing to license. Someone who has good personal boundaries as well as having an understanding of addictions and mental health is a plus. This person must be knowledgeable in evidenced based practices and have the best interests of the clients at heart. This position will work directly with our clients in our Stanton Residential Unit.

This position requires assessments, assisting with medication refills, appointment scheduling, evening and weekend on-call - on rotation with other nursing staff. This position works closely with pharmacies and other medical referrals resources to ensure clients have the best medical care possible. We assist the clients in completing their preauthorization's and ensure that a quality and professional rapport with the clients is maintained. This position requires an unencumbered license as well.

At this time this position is part time with paid on call.
